Do you need to reinstall the LSS dongle drivers?

1. If the dongle is to be plugged into your computer

  • Download, unzip and run dk2win3264_8.19.2.exe
  • Plug the dongle in and run LSS
  • You may be prompted to call to activate the dongle. We are here 09:00am-5:00pm (UK time) Mon-Fri excl Bank Holidays
  • Return the faulty/broken dongle to us in the reply paid envelope. If returning from outside the UK, please send it back by a tracked service. On the customs form state that it is a warranty replacement and has a nominal or no value.

2. If the dongle is going on a server and accessed across a network – And you already have the old drivers installed

  • On the server download, unzip and run dk2win3264_8.19.2.exe
  • Plug the dongle in
  • On the LSS user computers download and run the following file
  • Check “DK2 is located on a DK2 Network Server”, click Next
  • Enter IP Address/Computer name of DK2 Network Server machine – Port is 3029 by default and can be left unchanged
  • Run LSS
  • You may be prompted to call to activate the dongle. We are here 09:00am-5:00pm (UK time) Mon-Fri excl Bank Holidays
  • Return the faulty/broken dongle to us in the reply paid envelope. If returning from outside the UK, please send it back by a tracked service. On the customs form state that it is a warranty replacement and has a nominal or no value.

3. If the dongle is going on a server and accessed across a network – And you haven’t previously installed any dongle drivers on this server

  • On the server download, unzip and run dk2win3264_8.19.2.exe (make sure that DNSvPm32.dll is also present)
  • Plug the dongle in
  • On the LSS user computers download, unzip and and run the following file
  • Check “DK2 is located on a DK2 Network Server”, click Next
  • Enter IP Address/Computer name of DK2 Network Server machine – Port is 3029 by default and can be left unchanged
  • Run LSS
  • You may be prompted to call to activate the dongle. We are here 09:00am-5:00pm (UK time) Mon-Fri excl Bank Holidays
  • Return the faulty/broken dongle to us in the reply paid envelope. If returning from outside the UK, please send it back by a tracked service. On the customs form state that it is a warranty replacement and has a nominal or no value.
